Research Experience:
Generally, my main research areas are in
Construction Supply Chain Management and Collaborative Working Environment
whereby most of my research grants have relation to these subjects. Most of my
research generally attempts to make use of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and
also its tools to overcome many deficiencies in construction for example,
project delays, low labor productivity, low profitability, fragmentation, etc.
Other than that, I have also been making a lot of effort to use SCM and other
collaborative working approaches to overcome deficiencies in Industrialized
Building System (IBS) projects especially in term of the level of its uptake in
the industry. Beyond that, being a
Quantity Surveyor by background with some working experience in the industry, combined
with a Ph.D. in Construction Economics, I also try to expand my research area
into studies related to Quantity Surveying such as Life Cycle Cost Analysis,
construction financial management, etc. as well as research in other areas
related to Project Management.
